Prices dropped on the cotton market on Friday amid falling demand by mills and spinners ahead of the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) fortnightly data, dealers added. The official spot rate was down by Rs 50 to Rs 4,900, they said. In the ready session, around 4,000 bales of cotton changed hands between Rs 4900-5050, they said.
