As the shearing season gets underway the British Wool Marketing Board (Board) says strong auction sales throughout the current selling season bodes well for producer returns in the coming twelve months.
Board Chairman Malcolm Corbett said, “proactive management of the Board’s auction sales has ensured a strong demand in the past six months, and with just 1.6 m kg of the 2013 clip left to sell is likely to enter the 2014 selling season with no carry over at all.”
