Kate Spade and Company said that it would be shutting its Kate Spade Saturday and Jack Spade stores as it seeks to focus on the long-term growth of its flagship Kate Spade New York brand.
After just two years on the market, Kate Spade Saturday, the lower-priced, more casual offshoot of the main Kate Spade brand, is to close all of its 19 stores gradually over the first half of 2015, while the “key elements” of its success will be incorporated into the main Kate Spade line.

“I wanted [an online shop] that really reflected the ethos and spirit of…[my] collections, rather than it being just a bog standard online retail space,” said English to WWD. The online store, found at phoebeenglish.com/

Sure, it's still freezing in most of the country, but let's talk about transitioning from the winter bundle-up to spring (yes, it's coming—we promise!).
What better way to transition than with one of my favorite tops—the sweatshirt. The thick waistband and cuffs, matched with that stylistic triangle at the base of the neck? It’s the perfect amount of sporty for me. As much as I love the simplicity of a classic grey terry pullover, I’m currently more excited by the more interesting fabrics and

As a study in disconnect, Paris's haute couture fashion week -- which came to a close on Thursday -- is hard to beat. The outside world might be suffering economic austerity, or the fear of Islamist attacks, or simply a winter to chill the bones.
But inside the warm, gilded bubble offered to the jet set designer crowd, a springtime fantasy was stage-managed to the smallest detail that banished anything resembling real-world woes.

With a 1970s, bohemian glam vibe, Georgia May shows off the Cara backpack as well as the Delphie bag with her hair in messy curls. Melanie Ward worked as stylist for the shoot with hair by Christiaan Houtenbos and makeup by Dick Page.

The maxi skirt. Though most often appreciated during the summer months, in bohemian prints and bright colors, it is equally as fitting for the cold weather. In fact, we would argue its full-coverage silhouette may be just the thing to remind you of sunnier days, while keeping your (now pasty-white) legs protected from the freezing winds of winter. For morning, noon, and night, we draw our maxi skirt styling inspiration from the lovely ladies below.

Military jackets, elongated blazers and high waisted trousers were just some of the looks at Lanvin's AW15 presentation. It was as utilitarian as it was rock & roll, like a Prince of Wales check versus tailored joggers. Layered knits over shirts were a 70s reference, as has been seen at several shows. Coats over parkas and bomber jackets over cropped ones confirmed the idea that tailoring and casual be mixed into one look.
Soft, fluid and seventies was the order of the day at Paul Smith.
