  • According to the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), excess cotton stocks held outside China are likely to keep international cotton prices down in 2015-16. Stocks outside China are projected to surge 26 per cent to 9.4 million tons, the highest level in 35 years and also the reason, why ICAC forecasts that these stocks will keep global prices down.
