  • The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Protection is presently studying the possibility of establishing an ‘Integrated Textiles Park’ in Mauritius. This issue was brought up during the mission of minister of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Protection Cader Sayed Hossen in India between February 14 and 18. It has been decided that India would grant market access to apparel from Mauritius through a Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ), similar to what it is providing to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
