There is tons of talk about fabric this season. Thick chunky knits are everywhere at Paris Fashion Week, with the knit pant quickly becoming a key piece for Fall 2014. Rich velvets in romantic shades of burgundy to soft rose have been spotted at Nina Ricci and Elie Saab. Sheer silk chiffons have revealed everything from legs and backs to arms and décolletage, and lace is cropping up in nearly every collection as a full-on feature or a just hint of sex appeal. But what are designers doing with th

Although it seems like the sun will never shine and flowers will never bloom, I can't help but think about what I'll be wearing (hopefully) just around the corner this spring. C?LINE Phoebe Philo took menswear, or rather women wearing men's clothing, as inspiration for her AW14 collection. Showing 42 looks, the collection was rife with coats, but the silhouette was long and slim, with just a few cocooning or flaring at the end. Coat dresses, knitted trousers and wrapped skirts made for a look that said less-is-more, focusing on fabric and craftsmanship, rather than glamour or sexiness. The platform sandals are sure to be a big hit on the high street next season.

As expected, Jennifer Lawrence worked the red carpet in Dior. Do you like the decidedly less voluminous peplum gown or prefer the actress in so
